Dr. Jordan Hughey
Dr. Hughey grew up in Cassopolis, MI. In 2003 she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from Michigan State University. In 2007 she received her veterinary degree from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
She originally joined the Iron Mountain Animal Hospital in 2007 and in March 2008 returned to her hometown of Cassopolis, Michigan to enhance her experience in large animal medicine and surgery. In 2010 she rejoined the staff of IMAH. Dr. Hughey has worked with both large and small animals and has developed interest and skills in equine medicine, reproduction, lameness, and minor surgery.
Dr. Hughey resides in the Norway area with her husband Jason and their daughter Ellery. Her interests outside of work include farm work with their draft horses, trail riding, and hiking in the outdoors. Her pets are her draft and riding horses, her dog, cat, and laying hens.
